The first group of women consumed 3 grams of powdered cumin per day, mixed with 140 grams of yogurt. The second group of women consumed the same amount of yogurt and no cumin.
After three months passed, the group who ate yogurt with cumin was noticed that had lost about 14 pounds, compared to women who drank pure yogurt.
What’s even more impressive, is that the first group of women had lost more than 14.64 percent. Compared to the second group, who lost only 4.91 percent fat, that is a big difference.
The main conclusion is that the fat was lost because this spice contains filosterole, an ingredient, which is best known to prevent retention of cholesterol in the body. It also facilitates eliminating the same. This is one way to boost the metabolism.
It is not necessary to add this spice only in yogurt. You can add it to any kind of food. Just put a little bit in your everyday meal and watch the results.
